Gratitude in Distance
My wife and I separated…
Now the first thing you’ll hear 👂 from most people is
“I’m sorry, I hope y’all figure it out.” Or “I’ll be praying for y’all.”
The fact is, it was intentional. She’s in
Michigan for the summer and I had to get some work done in Tampa. So…
- She coordinated all the girls summers programs.
- She coordinated with my family on super cool
summer vacation activities w/ the girls.
- She still maintained her work activities as an attorney.
- She coordinated and met up with her good friends…
invested in their lives as they invest in hers.
- The list goes go on and on…
Point here is this…
So many MEN want to take the easy way out and not see the gratitude in a strong woman. Yes, I am lucky and blessed, absolutely. But I had to do a lot of soul searching to see how lucky and blessed I am. And sometimes, it takes some time away to see how beautiful 🤩 the life is you have! A little separation is a good thing when your heart ❤️ is prepared to do it.
Challenge to you MEN out there:
- Find some gratitude, TODAY! A strong man has the power to make an even stronger woman. However, you must see it first.
- You have two controllable, ATTITUDE and ACTIONS. Make sure you check both at the door! 🚪
